[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
What better to do when there's a traffic jam, than to get one's camera ready?

This was taken early in the morning - through the windshield of the car, as I didn't want to get shot for getting out of it ;-).

The building is the new courthouse in the southern district of the city. Note the tentlike structures on top. I hope Lady Justice doesn't mind them, should she take a stroll on the roof...

Alone for making these structures waterproof there was an "extra" cost of about € 1,000,000.

What do you think, will the quality of the judge's rulings increase because of an architect's extravagance ?

An oppertunity taken well there Frank, the building reminds me of a dinosours back. Nice shapes. You have a nice clean windshield on your car too (mine is muddy at the moment :)

Nice shot Frank and interesting note.

Excelent shot Frank, well done in shooting inside the car.
haha, what's with the jaggies? :)
Well done

Mike <><

I'd doubt the judge will rule with better quality, but maybe more in the courts favor to pay for such a roof. This is a very different looking building, it also looks like a crowded place.

Well done Frank, even from your car your pictures are great. I guess photographers, amature or professional always have their cameras ready just in case they see a good shot.
Thanks for sharing,
Liz

Either you are driving an english car, or you are a car pooler... Or did you just switch seats? Clean windshield though...in my car this wouldn't be possible :)

IMO, a complete roof for € 1,000,000 would be rather expensive I guess, but the same money for getting it waterproof alone does no right to the feelings of justice...

Way too much extravegance but that seems to be the way of the world now. Much show and elegance and little competence. Always keep you camera with you. I missed a shot of a lifetime today by not having my camera with me....a rare occurence...I like the way you keep your windshield so clean....:O) :O) :O)

hey, there are sharks on the building!
good shot, nice depth with the cars from big=> small.
good colours and compo,well done!
but could it be that i see a reflection on the right ;o)

Jean Michel

Impressive building. You have done a fine job in this photo.

I'm not quite sure if the judge services will improove into this fine building. I hope so! :)

Amazing you took this out of your car... Makes me wonder ... Are all those people waiting in line for justice in Antwerp ?
