[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
1824 may seem like a big number. 1824 days may seem like a long time. But there are those for whom I am sure it still feels like yetserday. Poeple who carry scars that no number of days will heal. But the country? The country will heal. Heal, fight back, and be stronger. By that statement I do not say I support the middle east invasion, but I am of course totally against anyone who uses religious beliefs as an excuse to carry out sick massacres.

The numbers at the top are some statistics I came across. 2823 people died in the carnage that was visible for over 20 miles. The fires burnt for 69 days, reaching temperatures of 2300 degrees fahrenheit. 19500 body parts were found by rescue teams over 230 days. Only 291 bodies were found intact. Rather shockingly, only 1102 boies were actually identified, and 1616 death certificates were requested by families of whom the victims were never identified.

1824 days ago the world changed.

Jako
This picture is really amazing the numbers in the note are just sad.... Great post today.
It hard to think we have yet to reach the same amount of days to the total killed
Thanks for posting I think the number part may open some eyes!

Your note gave me goosebumps. What a wonderful tribute to those innocent lives lost. I have been out of sorts all day, remembering that hideous day five years ago when the world was forever changed.

Thanks for posting this incredible photo.

A great photo with a fantastic note.

I know it not just about the lives lost though, it has to be more about the buildings and the symbolism of the whole thing because ariound 82,000 people in the USA alone have been murderd so far this year.
Great work.

Great picture and presentation to commemorate such an attrocious event. Seeing this has been one of those "stop and think" moments. Thanks for sharing and for reminding.

its still not clear whether the 1824 thing was a state controlled conspiracy to strengthen the nWo or an actual attack by some fanatics... the question can be argued on both sides of the fence...

nonetheless, this photo has great colors, and i like it :)
