[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I wanted a monochroom look so of his face so it will contrast perfectly with the with wall. He is wearing a white tshirt also, now it looks that his head is coming trough a hole.

I modified the picture in photoshop and the brightness I brought up to +70 and also the contrast to +40. I did nothing on the composition, just left it like I took it.

Hi.

What a stunning shot, against the white background, the capture looks so 3D, magical composition.

Stv

whoa! this is like the exact mirror opposite of the photo I just posted today! I like all the white to really highlight your subject and considering the composition is almost exactly the same as mine, gotta say that it's genius! ;-)

Hi Liesbeth,
The name suggests that there is more to the photo. You got the message accross very well. The xpression on the face is great. It's been years since I moved from South Africa but each time I go back to visit it hurts more to see the black/white divide continue. I think it will take a few generations before people really get along.
Great photo,
Jako

Great Portrait you've created here Liesbeth

The white background is perfect as it makes the face stand out.

Fantastic shot
TFS

Beautiful portrait, Liesbeth, and your title is very symbolic. I like his shadow on the wall and all of this white around him. Excellent work!

Hello Liesbeth !
With a bit more luminosity in his eyes, it would make a perfect passport shot (^_^) No smiles allowed anymore (LOL!)here in Canada on passport photos ...
Nicely presented and framed.
Cheers!
Robert

wow, great shot, i love the contrast, it almost looks like he's coming out of a white wall... just brilliant...

Beautiful portrait with excellent post-process and good composition, compliments.
Ciao

Very strong potrait and composition you have here. I would say that if you shot this sharper and detailed especially in his eyes, I would proud to hang it on my wall
