[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
continuing with my little series in London, I had noted that every monday, tuesday and friday at noon, a little free concert/rehearsal was being held at the St Martin in the fields church... That friday it was a 4-hand piano rehearsal... Since the church was almost empty, i ventured to get very close to the piano in the altar to make some shots...;-)
another shot to be seen on TE of the hands playing the piano ...

ça j´aime :) de très belles lignes fuyantes, une superbe profondeur de champ (ouvertutre à 1.8 :-D) et en même temps des tons très doux et des couleurs très pastels. j´adore le flou et la douceur de cette photo. je trouve les pianos magnifiques et ce détail capturé ici aussi.

I like this, Eric, but my eyes get a little confused as to where I should focus...I love the POV you choose over the Grand Piano strings. I know how difficult these types of compos are and congrats for a great attempt. You took the challenge and I like the finished product...:O)

waou ! très beau. tout est beau, les lignes, les couleurs, la lumière, le focus. j'aime beaucoup cet aspect global alors qu'il y a un milliard de détails, de lumières, de reflets, de flou, de croisements. je suis E P A T E !!!

You have a real eye for the small detail that tells the whole story. The very shallow DOF on this shot - it makes it look like the piano wires are vibrating as it's played.

i like the composition and the blur effect. I feel the power of the instrument through the shot.
