[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A cold snap hit southern california out of the blue. After a stormy night listening to the howling rain and wind, I awoke to a winter wonderland. I captured this shot from a hill top overlooking the beach, surprisingly. From this vantage point, I was offered an unobstructed view of the nearby mountain range. It hardly ever snows this low down in elevation. The sudden drop in the temperature turned out usually quiet neaghboring mountains into the alps.
