this ship and one other appeared in the bay
the other was a modern version of a tall ship from the uk and sported a sleek grey superstructure and sails which appeared out of the masts and travelled sideways..not my idea of a tall ship
so here is the one which caught everyone's eye |

Hi Geof... I have just been perusing your gallery, you deserve far more recognition than you get. Fine capture of this tall ship. Good colour and light and I like the way you fill the frame. TFS,
David
Many thanks for your comment on
Through the Fog
If you have a look at the workshop which is in the posting for 'Tasmanian Netherlands' you will see the original of 'Through the Fog'.
Hello Geof,
This is one interesting vessel!
Old sail ships are amazing constructions, and we can only imagine how life on board one of those used to be...
Well framed, captured with good colours and fine details... Pity the sails are down though!
Greetings,

It's nice to see this magnificent boat again. I like you spotted it off Calvi on one of my trips to the island. Nicely detailed shot with an interesting sky as background.
