these poles are rotting in the Waddenzee.
i like this photo because it's also reflecting in the water and you can see not one pole is the same anymore.

Welcome to TL Martijn.
I can see why you took this picture as its an intriguing subject, but am not sure the final picture really does the scene justice. A few tips -
- use the full file size allowed - 200kb or 800pixels height/width - the bigger the picture the more details you can show.
- displaying on a screen means that using a border is a useful tool to focus the viewers attention or really make colours stand out.
Check the histogram of your picture - this one doesn't have true white or black present, so a tweak on levels could make it stand out more.

I've completed a small workshop to try to demonstrate some of these things, hope you don't mind
