[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sometimes a photo that you think is going to come out nice does not. There may be some darkness lurking somewhere. And if you look at your photo closely, the darkness will fold open in front of your eyes.

A close up of a dear friend... The original was in color with pretty flowers in the background and a blue sky. But once I focus my attention to the face, I realized that there is something disturbing and decide to move the photo in that direction...

Cropped/Desaturated/Increased Contrast/Mirror Effect - all on ACDSee

Reminds me a bit of "The Shining"...
