Entre la de foto a color y esta con acabado en B&W me quedo con esta.
El movimiento del mar es dramático.
Felicitaciones Steven.
Saludos.

Steven,
I can not figure out which one I like better the b/w or the color. Great caputre of that cold stormy water!

Hi Steven,
Impressive B&W capture with a great POV and nicely framed. A pleasure to look at. TFS.
Hans

A great powerful shot, Steven!
The timing is perfect!
Love the blueish tones and the contrast!

thanks and have pieceful night, Karina

Hello Steven,
this is a masterpiece, strong dynamism and force of nature portraied.
Very good/perfect composition. Great B&W. Probably better the original color version.
I have seen you have a wonderful gallery with beautiful lansdscapes.
Very well done.
TFS
Regards,
Alberto.

PS If you like landscapes you could consider to post images on the sister site TrekEarth (devoted to Earth images) and post here all other images (unrelated to Earth sites). I think (your) landscapes would appreciated more on TE and most of all it is more common to browse for landscapes on TE than on TL. At least, this is what I do.
Sorry for being so long. Congratulations again for your works. Best wishes, Alberto.

Hello Steven.

Awesome picture. Really good.

Yes, well applied desaturation. Good ridance of coloring and keeping the storytelling focused on static standing-tall lighthouse against the dynamic waves.

Satisfied with your Sony?

A.

Hi this is beautiful. I like the texture of the clouds and the aggressive sea. Very good composition as well. Well done!

Hi Steven
Great composition, very nice BW work
Well done, TFS

Great shot Steven,

You have captured the waves perfectly, the way they almost merge with the clouds and that wonderfull sea makes for an excellant photo, well done

Douglas

Excellent exposure and tone. Well done.
Taso

Hi Steven
this is a very dramatic shot you got here.
I like the fight of breaking waves vs. the (mostly) calm clouds in the sky.
The outstanding watchtower represents a nice item to look at.

Maybe the contrasts could have been a touch harder..?

Albatros

A very dynamic and dramatic shot! I could almost feel the waves. B&W suited this pic.

Absolutely wonderful contrast and textures, particularly in the wild sea.

Hi Steven,

To tell you the truth this is even more impressive and beautiful than the previous, coloured version!! This is PERFECT!!! More dramatic, more atmospheric!
Very very well done!

Quite dramatic. I like desaturation, but what if you left the colours on the lighthouse? Didn't you get wet while taking it?
Regards,
Seb

Works extremely well as a b&w shot, although the longer I look at this one the more I think its a model from a Gerry Anderson tv show! :-)
Thanks for sharing
Mark

very special this one
love the special light in the picture
and the softness is also great in this picture
gives a really off world feeling

I have to say it, Love the B&W version better than the color one.. More Power!!!
