it reminds me of the faithful dog of japan, HACHIKO from the AKITA dog breed... you gotta read its story you know! a dog that waited for its master...

my heart is completely with animals, the Great Forgotten of this unlucky planete; I hope this tender dog is only sleeping, the human being is used to employ his best friends for the worst aims... Your shot is really touching for me.

Beautifully captured and this shot of yours clearly establishes the fact that for a shot to be good camera and things matter less as compared to the emotions you are able to bring out in your shot however simple and technically unprocessed it may be. I like this shot and the way you have presented it here...no doubt it doesn't require any note the visual says it all!
