[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my first post within TrekLens website. I have an account in TrekEarth available here for those who would like to see my other portfolio.

Here is my first shot with my new lens: sigma 70-200 f2.8 APO!
I am quite proud about this one as the DOF is good enough to focus our attention on the cat.
Let me know what you think about this first photo.

Great i love cats!Beautiful portait and great warm colors!

Tout de suite avec ton règlage tu tombes juste dans une dof maîtrisée, en plus ton modèle est sympa, tu vas te faire des copines sur TL :)))
Ici c'est très détendu, là bas aussi mais pas pour les mêmes compositions.
Te souhaitant de t'enrichir ici aussi.

This is a beutifull potrait of your cat Alexandre. Good Dof that lets us focus on the eyes. It could be improved with some Unsharp Mask i think. That would give more details to the fur. Great shot.

My brother again. We - cats have to keep together!

Nice portrait. I like the way the focus hangs on the head... the eyes look great. There is something so special about cats eyes isn't there.

Welcome to TL, Alexandre and a great first contribution. The DOF not only focuses on the cat but on the left eye which adds real intensity to the shot. Well done!

I have two cats...one of which, Tikrit, resembles yours. I think the composition of your shot is excellent, but your dof is a bit shallow. Never mind, we all are in the process of improving...or ,at least, I hope so.

If I were malicious I would say that I don't understand to upload so poor photo - blured, not in focus etc. Nice cat deserves better shot, but I am not malicious so I will write that it is quite fine photo. :))
