Hi all,
I still haven't managed to get anything new, so here's another older one. Its the seed part of one of those (hmm how to describe them) spinning around seed things that drop from trees. It was kinda half rotten or something. anyway I was rather intrigued and took it inside for some experimenting.
I got the white background by firing a flash from the back. My ceiling lights provided the illumination on the seed. I tried to contrast the rough texture of the seed with an almost sterile mood.
PP- cropped, dodged, burnt, desaturated, levels, USM... Not in that order.
Hope you like it,
Jako |

Hi Jako
WOW what texture, i have seen many of these seeds but never saw it so close and so detailed. Great job. Very good idea of firing the flash from the back.
Congrats and TFS
