[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo of the White House during one of their garden tours this summer. The White House is where the President of the United States lives, and is one of the major landmarks of Washington, D.C. I like my POV in this shot, but I was sorry that some scaffolding from a renovation was in my way.

The detail on the decorational elements of the architecture (specifically the column capitals) is superb! I love the POV and the angle which allows the curve of the building to emerge from the top right corner and fill up space until the left. Awesome shot!

Who said that US is too modern and all new... This looks to me like an ancient Rome :)
Don't worry about scaffolding - this is not so noticable as the leading lines attract attention to the major subj.

Very cool picture! I love the detail and the frame. Nice POV. The sky is very pretty too. I have been to Washington D.C. but I have never been that close to the White House before.
