Hello Bob! I like this one a bit better than the former one, on which you have asked me to comment. Well I'll do it here :)!
I think keeping her sharp here is a better choice than the blurr in the former picture. Maybe it is wise to darken the outer edges of the background? That way your granddaughter will stand out more in the picture. Of course all of it just IMO ;)
Btw, she is a great artist!
This one is so much better. A different placement of the child this time, and I like it too. Perhaps clean up a little bit the dark areas around her body. The eraser tool could do that once it is placed on a separate layer. Or try using the Dodge tool to lighten them. Keep up with these experiments, it only takes practice to make them neat and clean.
I really enjoyed looking at the drawing. She draws very well, and I love the extended 'm' on the words. Cute.
