| The remains of Palace of Namrood (Freon of those days) can be seen on the background. The tower is still standing where from commander of Namrood let off an arrow to the sky to kill the God of Ibrahem. The arrow returned with blood stains on it and thus guessed the God of Ibrahem killed. There is a valley in between the hill top where we are standing and the remains of Namrood’s Palace but cannot be seen except some trees and vehicles in the right side moving in the valley. We were not allowed to go there because of venomous snakes in the ruin. On the Hill Top, where we are, is the birth place of Prophet Ibrahem (AS) located to our right side but my friend, who took the shot, could not manage to bring that within this frame. The birth place of Ibrahem (AS) has a Beautiful Mosque and an underground Hall on the Hill-top. The quality of the picture is not good yet it tells a tale of history. |
