[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo somewhere in the bush on safari in South Africa. The branches just seemed sort of interesting to me. Maybe it was too much fresh air that got to my head! I wanted to play around with the DOF a bit, but I dont quite know if I succeeded. What do you all think?

Hi Niel

I think you succeeded. I can try as much as I like, I cannot get these shots to work for me of my camera with me behind it.
Great detail in the bark. The only thing I can say is the overexposure in some of the areas of the background. A polarising filter might help with that, (I am sure if you bracket you will loose some detail in the bark areas.) So without it (the polariser) I think very nice exposure for the shot you took.

I really like the texture of this photo, the detail is brilliant. The dimensions of the photo makes one wonder where it starts and ends. Well done
