Soon they the Canadian geese will fly further south and will be gone until next spring...
Its a very wet day here... so I figured I look back a few days to see what I could find! :)
I found this flock in a local pond. Had to call animal control one of the members of this flock had a yellow tube around its neck... Not sure if they were able to help the litte guy but they said they would! So I hope they got to it before it was "Time to Fly"!!


If anyone knows if its some sort of tag? I'll post the other in ws! Thanks I'd love to hear its just a id tag..

THIS IS EXCELLENT !!! Really great colors, details, sharpness and your POV is superb. Also, your framing is done so well it really compliments the photo nicely.

Now the funny part---- I am going to put in your workshop a pic of a goose. What are the chances we photographed the exact same bird ???

Hey I reconize those guys! The one on the left was in my backyard just a few days ago...:o) I love these geese, I know alot of people think they are dirty and messy..but I feed them here. Love watching them and listening to their "conversations". Love the photo, and nice framing as well..TFS

They won.t be alone , I know a lot of two legged Canadians that will migrate to Florida shortly (^_^).

Beautiful shot of these geese! I like the deep blue water. The band is a tag, I found one here last year on a pond wearing a tag & called the game warden. He said since the tag was white it was a local goose that stays here & was only interested in ones of different colors. The tag does not bother them, I found the one here again early this spring with a mate & six little gosslings.
