A MD11F (Freighter) ashortly before touchdown, comind in from east into Frankfurt airport.
I´m posting this picture because of the atmospheric light.
Location:
This picture is taken from a very nice and typical "planespotter"-location. It is easy to reach: Coming from the big freeway-crossing A3/A5 "Frankfurter Kreuz" - take the A5 south towards Darmstadt. One of the first exits is "Zeppelinheim". Take it and turn left towards Zeppelinheim. Follow the sign "Recreational Area" until its closed for vehicles. Walk left towards the airport and you will cross a pedestrian bridge across the freeway and find yourself directly at the fence of the airport. You can walk direcly under the flightpath for incoming Machines from the east, which will be the most common incoming path (most times wind from the west).
Gemini Air is a U.S. Freight company, based at Miami international Airport. It was founded Dec 1995 and startetd flights in 1996.

hi Werner,

the image generaly also has a good composition.
Well done. Regards, Daniel
PS: Dulles airport is one of Washington DC's airports (actually situated in Nothern Virginia)
Hi there!
What a fantastic shot! Great timing!
Love the colour of the sky; almost cant belive it is in Germany. You automatically expect it to be gray and dreary!
Great composition; gives the effect that the plane is actually going somewhere.
Well done!
great pictures. love the colors!
Me gusta, la luz es muy cálida, agradable...
Y la composición muy buena...
Felicidades!
Mical :-)
