Great macro capture. Since you're looking to try to improve it, I thought I'd try giving a less-saturated, more natural look. See my workshop. I hope it gives you some ideas. Best, Hugh

Well composed with good focus on the bee. Unfortunately, lighting is harsh and I think dodging/burning or adjusting contrast or saturation with Adobe would probably not help much. For macro photography of flowers especially those with petals in the primary colors, I prefer taking photos during cloudy days as this condition almost always results in good lighting to the subject and the resulting image is easier to manipulate (or may not require manipulation) with pp. Best regards.
