[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on the D. João III cloister, the most magnificent cloister in the Convent of Christ, and we can see a little bit of its famous fountain.
The Convent of Christ (UNESCO World Heritage since 1983) is the leading emblem of the Tomar city. It was the headquarters of the portuguese branch of the Templar Order. When this was suppresed, the king D. Dinis replace it by the Order of Christ.
In the Convent you can find the architectural styles from the XIIth to the XVIIIth centuries. All its unique decorative exuberance belong to the Manuelino style.

This photo quality isn´t very good, but there is something there that fascinate me... I really don´t know why...
I hope you like it,
Aida

Regards!

Hi Aida, fascinating use of light and shadow, interesting note and beautiful Photo, ciao Silvio

Hello Aida,
You must like this picture because you had the chance to visit this great place. What a story behind it. I like this POV and composition a lot. I think that details could have been a little sharper but as you used F3.0 aperture, you couldn't have much of them. This is a very nice picture anyway; well done and TFS,
Claudine

Hoi Aida,

Great picture.. the contrasts are very nice and most fascinating is the little bit of green in the centre of the picture, I think that however it is not so much visible this brings the whole scene together and gives it the right balance. Try to take it away and you will see :o)

Very nice, rustica, it gives a relaxed impression.

Thanks for sharing..

Ola Aida!

Cool POV and composition. A difficult shot indeed to take in view of the heavy light changes in various levels. Nevertheless , a good photo.
Bravo!
Robert

Ola. Uma foto muito bem conseguida. Como que para quem procura a luz estanto na escuridão. É um pouco assim a tua foto. Bom trabalho.

Good POV and colors, pitty about the sharpness. Very imaginative!

Ola, Aida.
Nice story goos with this good looking picture, you made it special by placing it out of the centre.
Jan

Hello!

A real exposure trap!
Eight bright zones and eight dark zones!
That's, quite, well, balanced!
The composition is very pleasant and original!
I like very much!

Bernard
