[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
National Day 2006 in Ningbo China. Baizhang Lu (street) crosses The Fenghua River in downtown Ningbo by way of the Ling Bridge. Earlier in the day this bridge was thronging with pedestrian and motor traffic as people made their way downtown to celebrate National Day. Now, at 9:45pm, the bridge is relatively empty. I managed to set up and expose this shot just minutes before the bridge lights went out at 10pm.

I am interested in peoples' opinions as to whether I should PP the greenish reflection in the lower left corner. I think it would be relatively easy to make it purple like the rest of the reflections with a hue replacement wand. What do you think?

Critiques [Translate]

I like the soft colors and subdued lighting. Great POV and DOF. The frame also adds to yout photo. I wouldn't edit out the reflection, it acts as an anchor point.

Hello, Don,
The bridge has very beautiful structure curves, which are also reflecting in the water in purple colour. If you remove the green spot, you will also remove the movement courses of the reflection. In my opinion you don't have to remove it.

Nice shot Don, the bridge platform looks quite flexible!! not your fault I know, sue the architects and structural engineers!
That green corner is a tough nut, I tend to agree change it to purple, but it does tie in nicely with the lights under the arch and as said by Jamfest it's an anchor point. Good work, Neil.
