[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have been waiting for our stormy spring weather to settel ,and the breezes to drop, to be able to take some pictures of this lovely rose, Albertine.
Albertine is an old fashioned rambler rose, that grows over this fence of ours.. we love it, for the jewel like colours of the buds and blooms, and the way , she so generously flowers , at this time of the year. There is not much in the way of repeat flowering, but the foliage is also atractive, and this sort of show well worth waiting the rest of the year for.
I am abit disappointed in thsi picture.. espeically therandom long shoots waving i nit... should have done some selective pruing first:-) so, it wil lbe back out there tomororw ,hopeuflly...for the improved version!
thanks for looking Meagan

Hi Meagan, I love this rose and had thought of buying it a few years back. I always recognise those deep pinks this time of year. And their display seems to go on and on for at least a month or sometimes even longer!!
And I like your composition showing us your farm in the BG, the land does look very attractive, especially with those tall poplar trees, and the landslip too:(
The pink blossoms look awesome - I love them and their dark leaves too.
Thank you for sharing,
Janice

Hi Meagan

Plenty of blooms on this healthy looking bush. Looks great against the rural BG. Thanks!

Hi Meagan..the wind has been a nuisance of late hasnt it... Yesterday we found that problem as well, when out and about on our girls day out.

Oh what a fabulous rose bush this is!!..just look at all those flowers and buds.. and so healthly looking too...

Reading your notes I see the long branches are annoying you.. you could have cloned them...(computer pruning.. lol)..takes a bit of work.. but fun to do.. If you have the time that is!..and your hand hasnt gone numb on the mouse!.:-)))

Thanks for sharing this beauty Meagan.

Cheers Dawn

Hi Meagan,
Great composition, using the roses as the foreground was an excellent idea!
Good DoF too - oh but those skies, they are begging for an ND grad filter :~)
Thanks,
b.

Lovely natural fence you have my dear Meagan!

You have the right POV, perhaps just another time of the day will suit better this view. I presume this was taken atsunset , try the same in the morning. I am looking forward seeing the next one .
Cheers!
Robert
