[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I snapped this shot when I was walking around downtown in Atlanta. I kind of liked the gold highlight on the pole against blue sky in the background, so I matured my camera normal on the sky and let the highlight on the pole burn a bit.

After I got my print back from the lab I felt that the dried leaf was too flat. So I decided to explore myself a bit on PhotoShop by increasing the color on the leaf to make it unusual look. Hope it might get more interesting between space, red, and blue

Not certain why this one has not attracted any comments yet, Jean. I personally like your composition and the work done on the leaf is quite impressive. I might have cropped slightly on the right to eliminate the tiny bit of the object that we can see along the frame but that is a minor detail. You also seem to have a line cutting across from top to down in the middle of the picture; not certain what it is. Very graphical composition and good light as well as good choice of DOF. Well done!
