Overnight, we received 40 centimeters of snow, 15 more expected today. That's Nathan digging a tunnel and that's my car full of snow.

The bonus, no school for the kids, no College for me. It's a snow day for all of London. The Mayor ordered London as "Shut down."

Phew! I'd say that really is a snow day. Enjoy it Mike. Don't forget to feed the birds. Great composition and sharpness.

Mike,
Holy cow, you had quite the storm!
We had 2" of ice from a similar system. Everything shut down here also.
Glad you got the thick white stuff, I don't have much affection for snow!
I like this shot because of the wiper blades, also the thickness of the snow on the roof of the car. Does Nathan have plans for building a snowman?

Quite a storm you got in London and we got nothing in Toronto...very interesting to see the difference from one place to another. It is quite funny to see the wipers of your car on top of the snow and your snow in front of the car. Nicely done!

Sorry, my bag is empty!

Oh my!! That IS alot of snow!! We had only a dusting down here! great photo sure makes me feel a bit queesy knowing that soon that could be me digging out here! TFS

London is shutdown, but Darth Nikon Photography is open ;o)).
In Belgium we can only dream of snow piles like this, Mike... too hot, too wet :-§.
Nice docu-shot, Nathan's clothes and the car adding some colour. But for me it's the snow that makes the shot.

Gotta love that lake effect snow! Two and a half hours east, and not a flake on the ground! Not too sure about your son in the foreground: it's not clear what he is doing. However, you captured the depth of the snow very well, and those upright wipers are like asking for help! Enjoy your shoveling, but don't break your back!

Could you send us only 5 cm of your snow :-)
Great to see the wint5er time is coming.

Hmmm, this is the snow scene...
How my imagination tells me Canada should be.

Hello Mike !

Lucky you !!!!! Boy, it is only raining here. Are you missing Manitoulin Island after that (^_*) ?

Funny daily scene , or what I believe should be a daily scene at this time of the year here.

Cheers!
Robert

Hi Mike

Wow! Ya dead right there mate, wish we could have some of that, would make for some great photo's. It quite embarrasing living in the UK looking at countries such as yours when it snows. If you ever see the news from the UK mate you'll see that 4cm is all it takes here for our transport systems to grind to a complete hault.

We live quite near to the coast here so if we do get any snow most of it turns to rain before it sticks :( I'm still holding out for some snow this month though :)

Great shot of Nathan having some fun

Regards

John

Hi Mike. A couple of weeks ago we had 10cm of snow here in the U.K. The country ground to a halt for 5 days, if we had this ammount of snow could be June before things back to normal;~) Thanks for sharing.

Regards Phil.
