Good day everybody !

No Christmas tree today , No Santa either today. I propose you a different mood (^_^). More Natural and untouched .

I took this shot on my way back home in October from Port Saguenay minutes after this one . It was taken further down the road. We see Lake Jacques-Cartier next to the Rest area in the center of the park.

Technically: Image tilted to correct the horizon. Adjusted luminosity and added a simple border and title. Snow Squall approaching. You can actually see flurries appearing in front of the sun...

Thanks for your recent critiques and comments. I will be away until tomorrow night. We are leaving to Quebec City this afternoon. It is the Christmas party for my Company Group. See you later.

Quebec City , we are coming!!!!

love the steely grey cold feel of this picture and the texture of the water where the suns rays light it up. I think I would have cropped out (or change camera angle) the little bit of black vegetation in the bottom right corner.

Andrew

I like the bit of sun on the water and clouds.
Very dramatic nearly scarry mood where the sun provides that bit of hope. Well captured. Enjoy the party.

Hi Robert. A grey sky similar to the one I can see out my window right now. 28C yesterday and now we have showers forecast. Lovely POV and a good natural looking image. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ' holySheet’

Salut Robert,

Bien vu.
Merci Robert.
Pierre

Hi Rob,

Lovely mood, my friend!! I like the way the sun is hidden behind the clouds. It has a playful and at the same time sad feel. :)
Nice sharpness and POV!

Well done
Constantinos

Wow!!! Superbe netteté. Vraiment impressionant.
Merci

Bravo!

Beautiful light shimmering across the water, and the cloud cover is adding a lot of drama.

Salut Robert

Paul

Hi Robert,
Very lovely "silver" view. I especially love the water and the sun glowing on its surface.

I posted a squall coming yesterday Robert - a rain squall, and thankfully not a snow squall. But thee was snow right down south of NZ the last few days.
Enjoy your Christmas party and drive carefully,
Janice

Good moody shot. Well done.

Dark and dreary winter day! Nice catch of the snow storm hope you didn't get stuck in it! They seem to all about these days down here too. Nice to see them when they are across from the water , somehow gives us a security blanket? :o)
Til the Wind shifts!! ha ha!
Nice shot and have fun at the Xmas Party...somehome I'm guessing you will! TFS

Hello Robert,
a very moody composition, wonderful grey tones and excellent textures. I love how the sky is opening up and the sun peaks throughmaking a lovely light path across the lake.

Bonsoir Robert.

Bravo! Annie
