"Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"

Yesterday, Pam, Dawn and I wandered around Queen Street – the main shopping area in Auckland City. It was our CHRISTMAS DECORATION DAY theme, and what a disappointment we had looking for Christmas Decorations. The council had put up a few Christmas trees on a couple of shop balconies, and also a couple of angels were strung across the road – but that was all. And even the shops were rather bare.

Thanks Pam and Dawn, a good time was had by all. . .

But this lovely fellow was the best of the bunch. Isn’t he a darling – he looks so real and cuddly, so I offer him to you with the following warning:

You better watch out
You better not cry,
You better not pout ‘cos I’m tellin' you why,
Santa Claus is coming to town.

He's making a list, checkin it twice,
He's gonna find out whose naughty or nice,
Santa Claus is coming to town.

The boys and girls in toyland will have a new physique
There gonna build a toy land all around
The CHRISTmas tree.

You better watch out, you better Not cry
You better not pout ‘cos I’m tellin' you why
Santa Claus is coming to town.

Santa Claus is coming
Santa Claus is coming
He's coming to town

Hi Janice,
This is a very beautiful composition. I like the lighting and the tight cropping with the position of the electric candle. Very well done.
Cheers

Great shot of Father Christmas, I love the way you have cropped it:)

Merry Christmas

Nana

Hi Janice,
Fantastic shot! Suttle lighting and colors, very sharp and well composed.

Hi Janice. Tasmanians are very drab when it comes to street and shop decorations, nothing as colourful as this. Excellent closeup, good colour and superb detail. With regards to the smoke you mentioned to Diane. Last Sunday we had the smoke from Victoria drift over. It is not the smoke of fires which affect me, I feel the diesel exhaust more. TFS,
David

Oooh, so lifelike he is almost creepy! Great lighting, awesome shot.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
