Una noche tibia nos conocimos
Junto al lago azul de Ypacaraí
Tú cantabas triste por el camino
Viejas melodías en guaraní.

Dónde estás ahora cuñataí
Que tu suave canto no llega a mí

Mi ser te adora con frenesí.....

Este es el famoso Lago Ypacarai de San Bernardino, Paraguay...y aquellas son algunas estrofas de la cancion.....

This is the famous Ypacarai Lake….one of the most well known places in Paraguay and one of my favorites places…I love to go there, not in the summer but in the winter because it’s more quiet and beautiful..In the summer time is full of people, but in the winter time there is this peace and quiet like nowhere in the world…I took this picture two years ago thinking that one day I can live there..With this picture, I hope you can feel what I felt. I took this picture with my Cannon AE-1 and I scan the actual photograph, so the quality it is not that great but I hope you can enjoy it…

Hello Claudia,
You capture the atmosphere very well!
The colour are awesome, and the image is well composed...
However there are some improvement potential in post processing, have a look at the workshop!

Hola Claudia, un lugar muy bello, colores bien logrados, te recomiendo utlizar un filtro para eliminar la granulación de la imagen, el filtro se llama neat image y es compatible con Photoshop, muchas gracias por tus comentarios, recibe un abrazo desde México, ... Viva Paraguay !!

i like how the water is a purple than a yellow color.

Muy bello lugar.
La composición, el pov y el colorido están muy bien.

La imagen presenta algo de ruido digital, te recomiendo utilizar en estos casos "Neat Image" genera muy buenos resultado.

Beautiful shot & well done

Hi Claudia,
this is a magnificent shot and the composition is awesome.
It is, however, lacking in sharpness as an obvious result of your large aperture. As we all know, a tripod is ultra essential for landscape photography in order to enable us to apply a smaller aperture thus providing a much sharper picture.
Perhaps you may want to try that in the near future.
