[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Smoking kills" everybody knows about the result of the cigarette but still kind of hard for the smokers including me to quit.

I captured this photo during our quick break in the office, everyone who smokes was lighting up their cigarettes at the smoking area. I was interested in this shot, because the lighting was so hard and strong against the fingers and it might enhance the hard feeling of the smoke on this photo

Hello Jean,
Well seen and captured. The lighting and details are terrific and the blue smoke really drawers the viewer in. Nice presentation and TFS Julie

Good light on this shot, Jean. But IMO it requires a bit of recomposition as shown in the workshop. The blue smoke is what I like the most here: very well captured.

greatshot , delicate and meaningful !
Well done !

Very nicely captured, Jean. I really like the blue of the smoke and the elegant hand. I have to agree with Pierre that the background on the left is a bit distracting. However, the light on the hand is just perfect. Well done!

Hi Jean,
This remember me strangely of one of my photo while at the same time beeing so different but carrying the same message.
I like how you've capture the blue color of the smoke with this dramatic mood in the composition. Very well done.
Luc

good job and have a good one,

Hello Jean,
I like this photo for its "contemplative" mood. We only see a hand and a smoking cigarette, but we can imagine someone thinking about life... and death.
Good crop, light and colour treatment on the smoke.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
