Hi all,
Well I went driving with my parents tonight to see what other people decorated their houses with for Christmas. Naturally I brought my camera, and not being able to get sharp pictures I strated messing around a bit. I set colour temperature as low as possible to get some 'cool' coloured streaks.

I gave this shot it's title because whenever I look at it I see a man (bold yellow line) dancing with a woman (more gracefull blue line), being carried away by the music in the background. Or was that a bit too much?

I know this must be the most pointless image in the world ever but what the hey.

PP- Just a crop at the top, (very) slight levels tweaking, and some USM.

Oh and one last thing- I have noticed that in all the shots of this kind I have done the street lights are never continious lines. More like dashes. Could this be from how they are switched on and off about 50 times a second and what not?

Hope you like it,
Jako

Hi Jako,

Excellent abstract. I see what you mean, about the dance... That's the thing i like the most about abstracts: you can whatever you want in it. For example: after looking at it some more, the yellow line in the front looks like the outline of a diver to me, and the blue lines, in the back, resemble carnival masks, floating in the air....
Thank you for this one

All the best for you and a merry xmas
nuxa

Very nicely captured, Jako. I do like your long exposure light series as they are all very different but all very elegant. On this one, I am wondering about the colours in the background...not certain if it would have been better without it; at least the line on the right could be cloned out to make for a cleaner black background. The lines are very elegant and do look like a dancing couple. Well done!
