This is a close up shot of a vertebra I found while walking in the Warrumbungles. It's a great place to see wildlife and the best thing is you see a lot of it:) I stumbled upon this while waiting for the sunset. I like the light and shadows on the bone.
I didn't have a macro lens with me:(
PP includes some dodge and burn work on a soft light layer, to get the shadows out. A slight vignetting and darkening on the surrounding rock. I also gave it a slight tint. The B&W conversion was done using the image factory plug in

Good close up of the vertebra. I like your DOF, although maybe the backgrund is a little bit distracting.

great macro of this vertebra...it caught my eye at first because i am currently in chiropractic school...so i have already seen and learned about my fair share of vertebrae (looks like a thoracic vertebra)...i really like you choice of DOF and focus point...i disagree that the background is distracting...but rather i like that it almost matches the texture of the vertebra itself...great capture...peace***
