[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Earlier today, I uploaded this shot of the same guy. He was sitting with another guy, talking loudly, smoking and chewing betel nuts. Like I said before, I feel with smoking and betel nuts he was enjoying probably the two most common vices here in Taipei. Too bad he wasn't also drinking whisky or beer, that would have given me the trifecta. Although his teeth certainly have taken the hit from his betel nut habit, his happy spirit is obvious.

Great moment captured here Darren - esp the colour of this guys teeth! Wow - I don't think it would have been as effective without them. Great use of DOF, great composition. The fact that he is wearing a white shirt is also good! Nicely done & well timed.

Nice second take, Darren. I think I prefer the expression you captured here as opposed to the shot posted on TE. Here he looks like a little boy who was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Good job.

This is Taiwan. It's not the only place in the world where people eat/chew/suck betel-nuts but it's one every corner of Kaohsiung, Taipei, Tainan, Pintung, Taichung etc. Good to see that you have taken a shot like that. I like it because it's funny in a way. Cheers!
