[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a shot of the Skillion at Terrigal.
It was a rainy, early morning and all my gear got pretty wet taking this shot :~(
I used an ND4 soft Graduated filter on the lens to tame the sky on the longish exposure.

PP Work: Curves on adjustment layer, USM on copy of layer and removed from sky, also removed some rain drops on the filter with the clone tool, resize for TL.

Hi Bill, impressive slow shutter'bill'job :)) that was pretty wet and cool for this time of the year at Central Coast! it is ironic that I was almost just down the road from Terrigal at Copacabana ;) at the same time.. waves created a dreamy mood, clear and sharp well done

Hello Bill,
A moody capture!
Full of details, even the lichens on the rocks come out well...
Pleasant composition, fine colours!

Hi Bill,
Excellent work on the wide angle and the motion. I really love the silky effect of the water. Composition and sharpness are superb. The ND Grad filter made the sky come out perfect. What beand filter do you use? The FG interest and leadin lines are perfect.

Hi Bill

These are the kinds of shots that hook me in. Nice use of the ND filter as well. The long exposure creates a nice mood in terms of how the water behaves. Nice work. Like your note on PP.

hello Bill,
Great capture and detail. The sky colour looks really dramatic.

Best regards, Daniel
PS: Green smiley later

very nice dramatic composition bill :)
beautiful colors and tones, superb clarity :)
well done :)

hi bill,

you need a few points more for this one.
best regards frans

Great long exposure shot - I love the effect it's created with the water and the great saturation in colours of the rocks and limpets(or whatever the seashells are). Great stuff, and well worth dodging the raindrops for!
Thanks for sharing
Mark
