A beautiful monochrome image has been presented which is symbolic. From thumbnail it appread to be an underconstruction rail track unless I have seen it in full. Fine details are taken along with good light.

i like the framing and POV choosen
good choice of b/w, the tones look a little light for me, would prefer a darker tone and contrast but thats just personal taste for b/w :)

Hi Linda,
we are also under grey skies, but no snow so far. I like this B/W composition, very nice textures and nice details. Great light and shadow play.
Lets hope there is a lot of wonderful things on the 2007 pathway. Happy New Year.

Very good strong image, well composed with the curve of the steps. I love the shadow cutting across the FG as well, it really adds aome value. Good in B&W. I wonder what it looks like in colour?

This is not a pathway... this is a Life!

I like it's inviting to walk. In autom i enjoy very much that smell under the trees, that particular could we say sweet sour of decomposition of the leafs on a moist land... Under the rain it's an explosion of smells! ANd when the sun is back... the colors of automns were cleaned.... Waiting the sun...
Even the B&W who is great... You will never erase the colors of the automns i had in head :)
