I basically got up early and found out that my telephoto didn't have the appropriate max aperature, so I stopped the exposure time down and came out with this. This is pretty much "as shot" with very little manipulation. However, I did reduce the noise. Pic was taken near Bend, Oregon in a sleepy little high desert town called Metolius, population 770.

Hi Jason

Nice composition with interesting color. However, I feel the image is too dark. Going with a smaller aperature and a longer exposure would have brightened things up a bit.
I've created a workshop.

Jason,
Very good composition, as what mpr says it was dark, I suggest that if our lens don't give a bigger aperture used the ISO setting in your DSLR and used a longer shutter speed...

Not bad, I agree its a little flat but I think that may have also been in part due to the upload and convert to sRGB. When I put the file in Photoshop it looks not so bad. The colors and time of day is perfect it just needs that snap and maybe something more in the scene to be a subject up in the foreground.
