And man said let there be light and there was light and he saw that it was good...

this is a view from atop a building on top of a mountain. the diagonal lines in blue at left corner is the railing that i am holding on to for dear life just to get as much view as i can. I was tempted to clone it out but got too attached emotionally i decided to leave it there.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! ---Mike

NICE , good shot. Happy new year !

hi mike, nice capture. great view from the peak. by keeping the rail in composition, you somewhat gave the city a nice semi-triangular view (if there is such a thing :) ). tfs and happy new year to you.

Hi Mike,
This looks more like Hong Kong than Shenzen ... The mountain you're referring to is certainly Victoria Peak ...
Strange !!!
And we can recognise the Bank of China Tower.

It's with some pleasure it remember me a movie i enjoy a lot for it's dark visual like that... Blade Runner :)
It's a very nice little village...
Hummm it make no sense hummm...
The total opposite of a village... We are in the sea of the industrial life! An explosion of details!
No offence if i play with it? I feel to play my second workshop for that...
I'm sure artisticly it have potentiol to explote that..
Lets see... in few minutes the result...
Happy New Year!

Beautiful shot. I like the railing, it acts as an anchor for that corner and gives it perspective.

Well done,
David

Hi Mike.

Blaze of glory indeed, the 1 second exposure works so well here, love it.

I am sure that you must have steadied the camera somehow also. And I seem to detect some nice PP work as well. The overall effect is great. Only thing I miss is a run through the noisefilter to make the sky more evenly dark and less rainbow specked.

Wow! Great capture. I bet that's not a great place to be if you're afraid of heights. But it must be a thrilling experience nonetheless. I congratulate you because I personally can feel the fantastic feelings you must have felt from where you were. I'm dying to experience something like this in real life! Thanks for giving me a taste of what it would be like!
