[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
4th of January, still vacation. I wake up at ten (I know, I'm a lousy student!) and think to myself: what am I going to do today?
Soon a list of things comes to my head: studying, go to the supermarket, clean the house, studying some more, go to work..
But first things first: make myself a cup of coffee! I really enjoy this moment of the day. So I thought I'd share it with you.
Step 1: Take some instant-coffee (hey, this is actually good!) and some milkpowder.
Step 2: Add hot water and sugar.
Step 3: Sit down, relax and don't think of anything at all. (Optionally: play some easy-listening music)
Step 4: Drink your cup of lovely hot coffee! You can see the result on the third shot.

Try it for yourself! You'll be amazed.

Hoi Mariet,
Dit is zo'n beetje het ritueel van mij op een zaterdag ochtend, maar dan toch wel met echte koffie. Behalve dan het studeren. Een mooie opzet en een erg leuk idee. Ook grappig dat je zelf ook twee keer op de foto staat.

Hoi Mariët,

Leuke, kleurrijke creatieve foto !
De zwarte ondergrond geeft aan dat het hier om een serieus ritueel gaat.
Door de rode accenten krijgt de foto weer iets vrolijks.
Leuk idee !
Waarom heb je de onderste in een ander perspectief gezet ?

This is a very good idea to show the steps in making a cup of coffee. I feel the image is a little on the dark side. Perhaps you could lighten it using Level adjustments and Curves. The composition and angle are great. Well done.
