The first of a set of 3 taken at an open air produce market near Sintra, Portugal.
This is a big old box of malaguetas - a firey hot red pepper popularized in Portugal from the days when we had a colonial presence in N/W Africa.
Those peppers are yummy stuff too if you can stand the heat. My dad loves them and has a number of "recipies" that turns those little peppers into the pickle from hell!
PP: Levels adjustments to deepen shadows, color balance adjustments to compensate for all the red (more green & blue - less red) and a minor saturation boost to make the colors pop a little more. |

Fantastic POV, colours and composition make this a real winner. I really like the way you've included the box, basket and bag in the composition: it adds both the setting of the image and the future possibilities (these little bits of fire being taken home and turned into dishes of all kins -- my imagination soars!)

A close up to the basket or to the box would be better; the plastic purses are distracting, the peppers are overexposed and those from box a bit out of focus.
