[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shot from the Marie Isabel Sharaton in Mexico City.

This one I actually did one exposure however used a three stop soft edge ND filter with a Polorizer to help drag the shutter. It also helped control the highlight and reflection on the American Express building.

In photoshop I had to add some S's on the building lights cause they were out. A little shadow highlight filter. Processed the raw file at 4800K. Traffic doesnt streak here like I would like going more for the color in the sky as the sun rises actually behind camera.

I used my favorite scenic lens again 24mm TS-E. I rotated the lens to get the verticle rise to keep perspective.

Thanks for looking.

Lovely view of this part of Mexico city. The evening light is very good, and the colours of the sky magnificant. Well done on the exposure and post processing work.

Hello Robert, a real beauty this photo, the successful well composition, brilliant and lived colors, I like me very much this photo, it he deigns for a postcard, congratulations.

Excellent cityscape Robert. I like your note explaining how you kept the details in the highlights. I think I'm going to have to invest in a ND filter.

Regards,
Joe

Great shot, Robert! One has to look a while to notice how perfect this image is: composition, PoV, light. Very professional indeed!

Nice POV but feels a bit over-saturated..,

Wow, fantastic colors, and the lights of the cars showing up as beams of light, wonderful! Thanks for sharing,
Fran

Very nice picture. Love the sunset/sky colors a lot. Great POV and saturation too.

Hi Robert,
Your vantage point is awesome. It give such a wonderful view of this metropolis. It also adds great depth to the photo especially with the diagonal road running toward the horizon.
The colors of the setting sun are wonderful. More cars would have been great, but hey thats life. Love the reflections in the building.
I might have gone for a bit more contrast in the FG trees and also cloned out that flare spot.
What brand of grad filter do you use?
TFS,
Niek
