I had this picture on file, it's one I took in summer for a holiday brochure (that's what I do for work out here), anyway, playing around in Photoshop, I used a technique which allows you to produce images that look like they are photographs of amazingly detailed models, yet are, in fact, images of the real world.
This is only the second I've tried so far.

Hi Nic,
the techinique you used is really nice and realistic - before I read your note I thought it's a photo of mock-up of the town. I like it.
