[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My husband and I are regular walkers and love early morning walks especially. This was taken at Cobb's Hill Park shortly before dawn on a foggy morning.

At the park's highest point, a walking trail around the water resevoir offers one of the best views of the city. In the background is the water works building.

Below the resevoir, a collection of lilacs and original tree plantings makes this park a horticultural gem in the spring.

I cropped the original photo.

Hi Linda!
Your foggy morning is really nice.
The fog is everywhere...looks good.
Nice shot!

Patrick

Hello Linda,
A very warm welcome to TL. A nice atmosphere you have captured here. I like that you have included the lamp to the left. It would have been nice to see the image bigger.
Cheers,
Debbie

Too gray for my liking, not enough contrast. The colors are a little dull too. I understand the fog feeling you're trying to depict but you need things to catch people's eyes. Nice composition, TFS!

Like the atmosphere. Alfred

Hi Linda,
Nice framing and focus on the lamp, and good DOF (depth of field)in spite of the fog.
This lends a wonderful eerie mood--a perfect setting for a murder mystery.
I'm looking forward to seeing your shots of those lilacs in the spring.
All the best,
Karen

Hi Linda. Considering this was only your second offering I find the comment by Thor a bit blunt. I challenge anyone to take a shot in reasonably heavy fog and get anything neat the definition and colour you have. The workshop offered by Thor has also introduced more noise. I like it, but then fog is one of my fancies. Well composed, good colour and fine detail considering the depth of the fog. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Mother's Day’
