[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on the Oregon Coast not far from Florence Oregon near Haceta Head Lighthouse. I took this photo straight into the setting sun without using any filters or special equipment. The photo also was not processed in photoshop except for auto enhancing and framing. I was pleasantly surprised of the outcome of this shot since I really did not expect it to turn out due to shooting into the sunlight and I really did expect some sun flare off of my lens.....I do love surprises!!!!

Hi Bettina
Great experiment and also a lovely surprise for us to see you posting again. The simple composition with the photo in vertical view offers us this lovely scene. Digital cameras are usualy very good at shotting directly into the sun, also I think todays lenses are much better at illiminating inner reflections. Thanx

Beautiful shot! I love the colors the way you captured the reflection on the water. Hope you didn't burn anything in your camera. Very pretty photo.
