Welcome to Trek Lens :)

Infra red or...ultra white!
Great effect!
Well done!

Hello Phil.
Welcome to TL. A great start, I really like this IR look. Another guy posted a few on here a while ago where the tree's were pink.
Good work, thanks for posting.

Wonderful to see some IR works here on TL. Not that common around here. Great going here, Phil. I like the harsh white look you've gone for and the colour are magnificent. As much as I like the high-key look, I would have considered adding some darkness to the branches.

Oh my.

Very interesting image Phil. Supernatural, but still like "could be". TFS!

Hello Phil
This is a very pleasant photo, and I think the same photo, not as infrared, will also look great.
Nice work.
You know what?
Make a large print, frame it and put it up your wall, this is such a great photo.

Hi Phil

Welcom to TL

Wow... a magical scene. Stunning work! :-)

Impressive first upload. I like some of the infra red photos. This one is especially appealing in that the sky and it's reflection are still blue. Very pretty setting also. The trees look full of life yet look covered with snow so it fools the eye a little.
Nice job. TFS

Hi Phil

Really like the infra red effect. Looks like a perfect cover of snow or hoarfrost everywhere but the water. The 2 sec exposure creates a smooth effect on the water too.
I like how you see the "skeleton" on the tree left of centre stand out.
There are a few specks of white in the foreground that seem a bit out of place. I think the image would look calmer without them.

TFS :)

Good Job!

I really do like IR photos. And this one is excellent example. It looks so unreal with this white leaves.

Fine work

Very cool effect, Phil (no pun intended). If anything, it makes me feel colder than I already am -- and the temps here are not expected to crack 10°F for about a week. Great color, wonderful use of the filter, well composed. Very good first post. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Phil,

Wow, great effect!
This looks like a scene from a fantasy movie to me, it's beautiful.
Colours are beautiful, great sharpness and composition and a very good perspective.
Well done and welcome on TL :-)

Simple but very efficient, bravo.

Hi Phil,
I love what you have done with the infra red filter. This really looks like frost on the trees! You have isnpired me to try real infra red film in my medium format camera. Great job,

Darren

Another great infra red shot Phil. I particularly like the colours and smoothness of the water. I recognised and placed those trees before I read the caption.

John
