you did very well with the dogs portrait.
I like the pose a lot and also how he makes ye contact with you. You brought out the wonderful fluffy texture of its fur which has a nice softness to it. Maybe ythe eyes do a need a little help,
I tried a work shop for you to get tid of the flash reflection.
