It was a very lovely day today, so I spend it making a nice walk at the Oisterwijkse bossen en vennen (English: Oisterwijkse forest and fens). I took a couple of pictures there, one of them is this dead tree, standing there against a clear blue sky.

The forest of Oisterwijk is located south of Oisterwijk, a little town near Tilburg in the dutch provence Noord-Brabant. The area is about 7,5 square
kilometers and the natural ponds were formed after the last ice age.

Hi Nel,
at first I thought this is just another tree shot but on closer look I discoverd your wonderful frame work. I like this frame a lot incooperating the surounding branches works very well. I have to keep this in mind for future projects. Very well done.

I love your POV and the color of the sky is amazing

Hoi Nel,

I like the perspective on this one. The PoV is great. The play of light and dark on this dead tree-trunk is great.

If I am not mistaken I see insect and pecker holes on the way up! This tree is proof how death for one is life for another.

My personal preference would be a different form of framing. I don't like to see an object "bloat" as is the case with the base of the trunk at the bottom inside the framed area...
