i like this earie image. the title goes with it, and this sound of silence does not cease to be captivating. you have managed to find symbolism in nature, beauty in the unconventional, and drama in the non-animated. works well with b&w, grain and framing. at least that is what i think! thakns for sharing.

You can really feel the silence and melancholy in this. Incredible shot, great in black and white, good silhouette of the tree and flat ground, and wonderful gray sky in the back with a gradient of light and shade to make the tree pop out slightly. Excellent cropping and composition that follows the thirds rule. Good title, TFS!

I can feel the silence looking at this photo. I like the detail and the choise of black and white. Maybe you could improve the cropping because, according to me, the tree is in an almost-simmetrical position; so, what I think is that you could put it on the true simmetrical axis or, otherwise, not use simmetry at all.
By the way, I appreciate the simplicity of your image and at the same time the richness of meaning and sense!
