Shoppers on N. Michigan Ave., the Magnificent Mile of Chicago taken from 1,000 ft. above
It really hits home when my camera could reveal so much detail from afar ... what more do you think could more powerful cameras show? In these difficult times, you either feel safe that big brother is watching ... or feel that there's too much intrusion into our private lives because of security concerns. Sorry for the editorial :-).
Taken from the Hancock Tower observatory located in the heart of Chicago's magnificent mile. If you are only in Chicago for a few days, this is a must stop - it gives you a dazzling tour/view of the city from the 94th floor, a thousand feet above the Magnificent Mile - spanning 80 miles, 4 states and 360 degrees.
BTW, there's also a restaurant on the 95th floor that is open for lunch - all you can eat buffet (including carved meat and a mile long table of salads) - linens and all - and a commanding view of Chicago and beyond - all for less than fifteen bucks.
Tech: just cropping, autolevels and unsharp masking. |

Reminds me of the Movie - Enemy of the State! Did you watch that?? Mmm.. not sure I agree with all these cameras - seems more like a red herring to me! At any rate, I love your shot - the angle is quite scary. Great detail, even if we can't zoom in like the government does! This is really great. Well done.

Interesting angle of view, out of habits! :-) I like angles and lines, mades by roads, cars, and building. Nicely done! Natural looking! :-)
