Shot from today's day. At a walk isn't what to shoot. Isn't snow.Isn't sun. Only sprouts in nearby garden.

Brassica oleracea var. gemmifera
Brussel sprouts, Brassica oleracea var gemmifera, are known to be native to cool regions in northern Europe. They were a popular vegetable crop in Belgium during the sixteenth century from which they were spread to the surrounding countries throughout temperate Europe. French settlers in Louisiana extensively cultivated brussel sprouts for its continuous production of miniature cabbages throughout the growing season.

Umm, used to hate these as a kid, but love them now. They are a must at any christmas dinner table.

Interesting POV. Good focus and exposure. The colours are very true. Well taken.

Hi Stefan,

Funny sells the picture before reading his text, I thought cabbages in miniatures, but reading the text understood what would be, but they remind cabbages well, interesting this plant, and text.
Visual, beautiful beautiful colors and sharp very good.
Congratulations

Sérgio

Hi Stefan,

So this applies to me or what? You pictured my family in its natural environmental! This is greatly appreciated. You can find the cultural part of my name here in my TL-portfolio. Anyhow a fine family shot :)
TFS!

Hans

:) Later...

It's funny to me brussel sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables and I have never seen what they look like when they are growing.
Good notes, good POV, lighting is a little weak but looks like you made the most use of it. I like the framing choice you made, it shows the BG through a little and this sets the vegetables off nicely. TFS

Hello Stefan,
i have enjoyed browsing your site, you have a range of interesting pictures. But I have come back to this one because I like the way you have noticed this ordinaray vegetable. I used to have a garden in which we grew sprouts and I always liked the way they looked.
regards
Bev
