Another image that I knew instantly that I wanted in B&W. I immediately saw all the converging lines that gives it the effect that it's sucking everything in. It ended up being kinda fuzzy, which I didn't really intend on. But, I'm hoping that some eventual feed back will tell me if this still works or not. Also, I feel that the train should be have a motion blur to give it more effect. Just resized. I looked at cropping this to take out much of the platform in the foreground, but I don't like the way it drew the person in the photo closer. I think it takes away the depth that I like here.

Hi Daniel! You're right about not cropping the photo as that would take away a lot of depth and perspective, and these are the two elements I love most about this photo. The slight tilt (?) really gives it a unique, trippy feel and I love how the black and white makes the photo slightly eerie and lets us focus on the perspective and compo. Although the blur can take away from the persepctive and neatness of the lines, I think it adds nicely to the sense of motion from the train and the overall strange atmosphere. Wonderful the way the lines converge just off-center and right at the figure's head to draw the viewer's eye in. Excellent shot, TFS!

Mr Daniel

I myself is on this site for the learning side of it. I have seen some good work with hardly any good comments. Scratch my back I scratch yours, I try and veer away from that, except with some really good ones that I just cannot stay away from.

Now yours...

The intro into the photo, well done, leading the eyes into it. B&W, I like it, it adds to the mood, Hand held will cause movement (fuzzy ness) The only thing that you should have added to this to make it a frenzy of excellence with the movement and the colour, is more people into the frame. With that "fuzzyness" you are reffering to it really would have created a masterpiece of action.
