The place is good. Composition is also good. But the blown highlights is a big NO-NO! See the sky? The details are lost because of the overexposed highlights. Try shooting on different times of the day(especially during times with low contrast) or much better use a graduated neutral density filter to lessen the light hitting the sensor on that particular area(sky). You could also try to bracket your shots and then merge them later using photoshop. :-)
