[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
6 o'clock AM, I havn't slept (my choice) so I went to the Dubai corniche and took this shot. 'twas still dark w/ some lights coming from the moons.

Exp: 1sec
F-stop: f/2.8
Note: Horizon is tilted 1° to the right, shame on me!

Pp: As you know, there is only one moon. In this pic, there is no moon, even. The small dot of light is from an Emirates Airline plane that I made bigger and put additional lighting and glow. The big new moon is just a quickie addition for some drama and out-of-this-world effect. In making the sky bigger, I made the canvas size bigger at the top, copied the layer, flipped it vertically, and "book-matched" it w/ the previous layer. The result is always a flasless sky, unless you have a cloud formation unlike this pic.

Nice post processing you have done on this image. It looks like one of those SF photos that you see in book stores. The picture is slightly tiled as many others before me mentioned.

I saw something like that. I was believe it was the same! A powerpoint who circulate... And they said! It was the moon see from north pole when they ad the midnight sun and the moon together! Your montage is well made. And the little one was from a plane! It's mean you probably add the line of reflection into water too :)

Reading his text, in this case should congratulate in double, because if the small light is an airplane, you worked well in the reflex in the water.

Fred, this is brilliant PP work -- and from the thumbnail I was drawn into this before any other in your gallery!
Fabulous textures and details: this would make an outstanding book-cover illustration for a sci-fi novel

Some inventive PP work here to create an eye catching picture. I'd be tempted to clone out the boats to retain the lights as a single column through the picture, but thats a minor change.
